The 2026 marathon starts on Ketagalan Boulevard, runs the Xinsheng Viaduct and the Huandong Overpass with a U-turn before Nanhu Bridge, and returns along the Keelung River park paths.
The organiser’s route text for 2026 starts on Ketagalan Boulevard near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and turns through Zhongshan South Road, Aiguo East Road, Hangzhou South Road and Xinyi Road. It then enters the Xinsheng Viaduct and takes Bei’an Road, Mingshui Road, Lequn 1st Road and Tiding Boulevard, with the viaduct and the roads closed to traffic. After the Huandong Overpass and a U-turn shortly before Nanhu Bridge, the course goes over MacArthur 2nd Bridge to the bike lanes of the Keelung River riverside parks and passes under Dazhi Bridge.

The 2026 course timing page lists the marathon from 05:10 to 11:10, and the organiser lists the leading group passing the first intersection at 05:10:24 and the last runner’s latest pass at 05:11:09. The organiser sets a latest passing time at each controlled intersection along the way, and runners who miss a timing checkpoint get no official result. The half marathon starts at 05:25 and the 10 km at 05:50.
