The first climb, at Baden, is 600 m long and leads up to the village. The second starts in Le Moustoir and is 350 m long, followed by nearly 1 km of false flat to the Locqueltas roundabout. The road then runs downhill from km 15 to the foot of the Vincin hill, where the organiser says many spectators gather. Three kilometres through the streets of Vannes remain.

An invisible layer before the start keeps seams, straps and shoes from rubbing skin raw.

Put it on before you leave for the start: heels and toes, inner thighs, under a bra or heart-rate strap.

Try it on a long run first, like everything you use on race day.
