The organiser calls the course fast and rolling, with few restarts and changes of direction. After the Bois, through the Porte Molitor and boulevard Murat to the Porte de Saint-Cloud, the way to the quays is more direct, with fewer bends and a short descent. The start was on the Pont d’Iéna and the finish by the Eiffel Tower, on 11 October 2026.

Race fuel
One every 40 minutes, the orange marks on the profile. Paris stays within 38 m125 ft of height, so they go by the clock:
Under about 75 minutes most runners need no gel: water at the aid stations does it.
For your long training runs:
Our pick: SiS BETA Fuel gel, box of 6, strawberry and lime. 40 g of carbohydrate a gel, about twice a usual gel, from two kinds of sugar your body takes up side by side. Enough for race day and two test long runs.
Easy to forget on race morning: pack them with your bib the night before.
