The organiser describes the marathon as a certified international course that circles Uiam Lake, starting at Gongjicheon Bridge.
The organiser’s race outline calls the full marathon a certified international course, a loop around Uiam Lake (의암호 순환코스), and names Gongjicheon Bridge in Chuncheon as the start. The 2026 race is on Sunday 25 October, and the 10 km runs alongside it.

The 2026 entry schedule opened with the runners due to join the hall of fame, those with nine finishes of the full course, and then a draw for runners with five to eight finishes. Only after those two rounds did general entry for the full marathon begin, in July. The race is organised by Chosun Ilbo with the city of Chuncheon and the Korea Athletics Federation.
