The Magdeburg Marathon is two laps of the half-marathon course, and a runner must be 18 or older.
The organiser’s course page puts it in one line: “Beim Marathon lauft ihr zwei Halbmarathon-Runden”, the marathon is two half-marathon laps. The marathon has a minimum age of 18. In 2026 the start was in Tessenowstrasse, close to the Messe halls, and the finish was on the Messe Magdeburg grounds between the halls.
