The 15 km course starts on Avenida del Ingeniero Manuel Soto at the port, crosses the old town by Calle de la Paz and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and returns along the old Turia riverbed to the same avenue.
The organiser’s description of the 2026 course runs from the start on Avenida del Ingeniero Manuel Soto up Avenida del Puerto and Avenida de Aragón to Plaza de Zaragoza, then along Paseo de la Alameda to the Puente del Real. In the centre it takes Calle de la Paz, Calle San Vicente Mártir and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, before Calle Colón at km 9.

The organiser says the 2026 course was certified by the Spanish athletics federation and that the last kilometres are marked by the city’s constant, slight slope down to the sea. From the Monteolivete bridge the runners leave the City of Arts and Sciences on their right, cross the old riverbed on a footbridge, enter Avenida de Francia and Calle Menorca after km 13, and finish under the arch on Ingeniero Manuel Soto. The 2026 race ran on 26 September at 22:30.
