The organiser’s 2026 rules describe a first lap along the Autovía de Levante opposite the Cathedral, the Paseo Marítimo as far as a turnaround opposite the Club de Mar, a stretch out towards the airport and back, and then the old town by the Ramblas and El Born. At Plaça Reina and Antoni Maura the half marathon turns left to the finish and the marathon turns right to start its second lap. The second lap adds an out-and-back along Avda. Gabriel Roca before the Maritime Station. The organiser says the distances are certified by the Spanish athletics federation.

An invisible layer before the start keeps seams, straps and shoes from rubbing skin raw.

Put it on before you leave for the start: heels and toes, inner thighs, under a bra or heart-rate strap.

Try it on a long run first, like everything you use on race day.
