The 100 km runs from in front of the Yubetsu General Gymnasium to the Tokoro Sports Center in Kitami, on a course certified by AIMS and the Japan Association of Athletics Federations.
The organiser’s course page puts a monument shaped like Lake Saroma at 42.195 km, a section of national highway without traffic control from about 33 km, and a stretch of trees nicknamed the Witch’s Forest around 65 km. From 80 to 98 km the course runs through the Wakka Nature Garden, which the organiser calls the climax of the course, the hardest and the most beautiful point.
