La Cursa is a 10 km circuit, new in 2022, that starts on Avinguda Diagonal and finishes in Plaça Catalunya by way of Passeig de Gràcia and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.
The organiser describes the circuit as running along the city’s most emblematic streets: out of Avinguda Diagonal, then Passeig de Gràcia, Carrer d’Aragó, Carrer de Viladomat and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, a turn at Carrer de Marina and the finish in Plaça Catalunya by Carrer de Casp. The start zone in 2026 was at Avinguda Diagonal 617, in front of El Corte Inglés Diagonal, and the finish in front of El Corte Inglés Plaça Catalunya. Timing mats sat at the start, the finish, 5 km and the Marina turn on Carrer d’Ausiàs March.

The organiser keeps the race free as its main identity, with every entry made online up to 40,000 registrations, and a charity partner each year (the Johan Cruyff Foundation in 2026). The 2026 race, the 46th edition, ran on Sunday 10 May at 9:00, and the organiser reported the 40,000 bibs gone on 9 April. Time is taken by chip, and pacers ran from sub 40 to sub 60 minutes in 5-minute steps.
