Chevron City to Surf for genU has a 12 km course and a 4 km course in Perth, and there is no marathon distance.
The organiser invites people to walk, run or roll either the 4 km or the 12 km course, on their own or with a team. The Perth event is on Sunday 29 August 2027. It is a fun run rather than a marathon: the longer course is 12 km, not 42.2 km.

The organiser says the event helps raise funds for the thousands of Australians living with disability, and calls it Western Australia’s most iconic fun run. The 2027 dates on its home page are Perth on 29 August, Karratha on 25 July and a virtual event on 23 August, so the same cause and the same 4 km or 12 km distances can be done from anywhere.
