The 2026 Bengaluru Marathon started and finished at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, and the marathon was run as two loops.
The organiser’s race day booklet gives one start/finish point for every distance, Sree Kanteerava Stadium, and says entry for runners is only from Vittal Mallya Road. Its cut-off rule for the full marathon counts a first loop: six hours in all, with the first loop due inside three. Twenty aid stations stand along the route, stocked with water, electrolytes, cookies and bananas for the marathon, half marathon and 10K.

On 27 September 2026 the marathon started at 3:50 AM and its holding area opened at 2:50 AM. The half marathon left in three waves, at 6:00, 6:05 and 6:10 AM, the 10K at 7:30 AM and the 5K fun run at 8:15 AM. The booklet asks runners to arrive an hour before their start, and says the cut-off to start a race is 30 minutes after its scheduled start.

The organiser’s cut-off for the full marathon is 6 hours, with the first loop to be completed within 3 hours. With the 3:50 AM start of 2026, the booklet turns that into clock times: the first loop closes at 6:50 AM and the course stays open until 9:50 AM. The organiser says that a runner who carries on past a cut-off gets no route support and no official finisher’s certificate. For the half marathon the limit is 3 hours 30 minutes, for the 10K 1 hour 30 minutes and for the 5K 1 hour.
