The organiser’s bib page says the run courses through Auroville and joins the trails, where some stretches are narrow and half marathon and 10K runners share them, with an aid station about every 2 km and directional markers. The 2026 half marathon started at 6:00am and the 10K at 7:00am from the Auroville Visitor Center. Runners still on the trails at 11:30am are picked up, because the team is advised that it gets hot and supporting tired runners after that is not advisable.

An invisible layer before the start keeps seams, straps and shoes from rubbing skin raw.

Put it on before you leave for the start: heels and toes, inner thighs, under a bra or heart-rate strap.

Try it on a long run first, like everything you use on race day.
