In 2026 the in-person races started at Laurier Avenue and Elgin Street and finished at the National War Memorial, with the event centred on Ottawa City Hall and the Cartier Square Drill Hall.
The organiser promised kilometre markers, water stations and portable toilets near each aid station. Participants could not drive to or park at the Drill Hall, and the O-Train ran from 6 a.m. on race day.

The 5K plus half marathon challenge asked runners to start the second race inside the official wave starts, and corral colours followed the finish time given at registration. Walkers and strollers were welcome and were asked to start in the last corral.
