The organiser describes a marked, Athletics Canada certified road course that has hosted Canadian Marathon and Masters Championships and the 1999 Pan American Games marathons. In 2025 it changed for the first time in 30 years. The page says the route is so flat that it needs no elevation map, and that the marathon is the only Canadian marathon to finish on a CFL field: runners cross the goal line inside Princess Auto Stadium. The kilometres are marked and aid stations stand about every 2 to 3 km.

An invisible layer before the start keeps seams, straps and shoes from rubbing skin raw.

Put it on before you leave for the start: heels and toes, inner thighs, under a bra or heart-rate strap.

Try it on a long run first, like everything you use on race day.

One in a pocket cushions a blister if one starts.
