NYRR states that the 2026 race served as a 9+1 qualifier for the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon and as a 4 Out of 6 qualifier for the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half. Members who complete four qualifying events in 2026 and hold an active membership by the last of them, the NYRR Staten Island Half on 11 October 2026, are guaranteed entry to that half marathon. All participants received a New Balance singlet at number pickup.
