The 2026 Mar del Plata Marathon started at 7:00 from Playa Grande, on calle Guardavidas Guillermo Volpe.
The municipality’s own notice for the 19 April 2026 race gave the start as 7:00 at Playa Grande, on calle Guardavidas Guillermo Volpe, for the 42K, the 21K and the 10K alike. Its traffic notice the day before had the road closures beginning at 5:00 and the end of the event estimated at 13:00.
The 2022 edition started and finished elsewhere: on Avenida Patricio Peralta Ramos, at the plaza Almirante Brown, with the 10K starting at 7:45.

The circuit page for the 2026 race reads “2 vueltas de 21K” and calls the circuit the official course of the event. The marathon’s timing points sit at 8.5, 17.5, 21, 29.5 and 38.5 km.
The municipality’s traffic notice for the same day put the turn for the 21K runners at Avenida Constitución and the Acceso Norte roundabout, and closed the coastal streets from Avenida Peralta Ramos and Juan B. Justo in the south, past Playa Grande and the centre, to Avenida Libertad and Salta in the north.

The organiser’s page lists two races a year. The marathon comes with a 21K and a 10K, and the Medio Maratón closes the year with a 10K and a 5K of its own. The organiser’s page records the 2026 marathon on 19 April and the 2025 edition on 25 May.
