The 2025 Wuhu Marathon ran on Sunday 30 March at 7:30 at the Wuhu Airport Convention Center, with a field of 16,000.
The field was 5,000 in the marathon, 5,000 in the half marathon, 2,000 in the 10 km elite race and 4,000 in the aviation fun run of about 6.5 km. The organiser calls it China’s only aviation-themed marathon, first run in 2023, and says registration passed 50,000 sign-ups.

The aviation theme runs through the event: a medal series over three years, a dedicated check-in counter at Wuxuan Airport for runners, and a marathon expo with an air show.
