Course elevation profile, 8× vertical exaggeration Elevation along the course from km 0 to km 21. The trace runs between 80 and 114 metres, a range of 34 metres, drawn at 8 times vertical exaggeration so the shape is legible. Smoothed over 1 km before this profile was derived. An unsmoothed urban surface carries the buildings and would assert a climb that is not there. The dashed stretches are bridge decks: Aleje Jerozolimskie, km 0 to 0.6; Generała Władysława Andersa, km 4.6 to 4.8; Adama Mickiewicza, km 7.3 to 7.4; Most Gdański, km 16 to 16.5; Wybrzeże Szczecińskie, km 18.8 to 18.9. A bare-earth model reads the ground or the water beneath a bridge, not the deck the runner is on, so those runs are interpolated between the ground either side rather than measured, and they under-report the real climb across a span.

It then loses height to about 83 m by 7 km and stays between 80 and 86 m through the middle of the course, with a low of 79.8 m at 9.9 km. A rise to about 100 m near 14.8 km is followed by a long drop, and the course finishes at roughly 84 m. In total the course climbs 49.5 m.

Measured

Whole courseGeometryFrom the Poniatowski Bridge to the stadium meadowStart on Most Poniatowskiego, finish at the Błonia of PGE Narodowy, 21.0975 km certified.

The organiser gives the half marathon as 21.0975 km, certified by PZLA and World Athletics, with cars kept off the road so that runners see the city from an unusual angle. The start zones are laid out on the Poniatowski Bridge and are one kilometre long; the deposit village and the finish are on the Błonia of PGE Narodowy.

Among the sights it lists are the Poniatowski Bridge with its panorama of Warsaw, the de Gaulle roundabout with its famous palm, the Presidential Palace, the Polish Olympic Committee, the Zoo and PGE Narodowy. Water points stand about every 5 km.
