The 15 km DSW Bruggenloop starts and finishes at De Kuip in Rotterdam and crosses the city's iconic bridges around sunset, in six start waves from 15:00 to 16:15.
The organiser sets the 2026 race for Sunday 13 December and describes 15 km over the iconic bridges of Rotterdam, run at sunset with a view of the lit skyline. Start and finish are by tradition at Stadion Feijenoord, De Kuip. Runners start in six waves, from 15:00 to 16:15, assigned by the finish time they gave at registration. The race has a medal and a light to run with, and the minimum age is 16 on race day. The 2026 individual entries sold out.

The organiser’s table pairs each kilometre with the time the first runner is expected there and the time limit. For the 15:00 start the first runner reaches kilometre 1 at 15:03 and kilometre 10 at 15:30, while the limit is 16:23 at kilometre 1, 16:55 at kilometre 5 and 17:35 at kilometre 10. Net time starts when a runner crosses the mat at the start line and stops at the finish mat. A runner who arrives after the start of their wave is moved to a later wave.

Race fuel
One every 40 minutes, by the clock:
Under about 75 minutes most runners need no gel: water at the aid stations does it.
For your long training runs:
Our pick: SiS BETA Fuel gel, box of 6, strawberry and lime. 40 g of carbohydrate a gel, about twice a usual gel, from two kinds of sugar your body takes up side by side. Enough for race day and two test long runs.
Easy to forget on race morning: pack them with your bib the night before.
Order by 22 November to test them on two long runs first.
