The organiser describes the course as two half-marathon turns, with the marathon runners covering the 21,097 m half course twice. The first lap leaves Eleftherias Square along Akti Sakhtouri and Australias Street to the New Ring Road, turns at the traffic lights where it meets Kallithea Avenue, and comes back through the Eleftherias Gate and Mili to a second turnaround at Elafaki beside Mandraki Marina. The second lap goes out along Akti Miaouli and Kato Petres to a third turnaround on Ialyssou Street at the junction with Iliades Street. Every kilometre carries a distance marker, and runners keep to the right. Finish: Eleftherias Square, in the centre of Rhodes.
