The organiser says the course was introduced in 2016 and given a small restyling in 2023. The way back into Padua rises along La Mandria and Via Goito, enters the historic centre along Via Vescovado and Piazza del Duomo, and touches Piazza dei Signori and Piazza della Frutta.

It passes the Caffè Pedrocchi and the Palazzo del Bo, and the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, before the finish in Prato della Valle.
