Whole courseGeometryFour laps of 10.55 km, 90% off-road, unlit10.55 km laps, 19 m of height difference a lap, 90% natural paths, route unlit, headlamps recommended.

The organiser describes laps of 10.55 km with a height difference of 19 m per lap, so the marathon is four laps plus a short remainder. All the distances are measured to World Athletics standards, and the marathon counts as a qualifying race for events such as the Boston and New York marathons. The surface is 90% natural paths and 10% asphalt. The route is not lit, and the organiser recommends a headlamp. Every kilometre of the lap carries a kilometre sign.

All the distances start and finish at the Sporthalle Unterrohr in Schlieren, in the Zurich area.
