The organiser says the course tops out at 3.7 km, runs downhill to about 6 km, then rises roughly 15 m on Selteveien between 6 and 8.5 km.

The organiser calls the fifth kilometre the easiest of the race, and says many runners set an unofficial 5 km best on it. The 5 km mark is in the middle of Steinssletta, and the drink station stands at 6 km.

The organiser says that after 8.7 km the course turns from Selteveien onto Røyseveien, flat all the way, before the last kilometre. Start and finish are at the Svendsrudmoen sports ground by Holehallen, and intermediate times are recorded on the hill.

The race is a 10 km road race on paved country roads at Røyse in Hole. The organiser calls it one of Norway’s fastest 10 km road courses, though not a flat one. The 2026 race on Saturday 17 October was full with 4,500 entrants.
