The course
The 2026 marathon starts at 06:00 from the Olympic Sport Centre Stadium in Taipa, with the stadium doors opening at 05:00.

The organiser’s programme for Sunday 6 December 2026 opens the Olympic Sport Centre Stadium in Taipa at 05:00 and starts the marathon and half marathon together at 06:00, with the mini marathon of about 5 km at 06:20. The marathon award ceremony is at 12:00, when the organiser ends the competition. It places showers at two points, one on the Macao Peninsula and one in Cotai, and a drinks station within the first 5 km, then water, sports drink or sponges every 2.5 km.

The organiser sets the 2026 quota at 2,000 for the marathon and 5,000 each for the half marathon and the mini marathon, and reports the quota for every race of the 2026 edition full. Places are sold first come, first served, online only, from 9 am on 3 October 2026 for the marathon and half marathon.
