The organiser’s welcome page describes the course in this order: the start and finish lines at Bryggen, a run through Gamle Bergen (Old Bergen) and the view from Fjellveien, the walkway around Store Lungegårdsvann, then past Møhlenpris Stadium, where the 5 km starts. It then enters the narrow streets and wooden houses of Nordnes, goes on to Nordnesparken and takes the final leg back to Bryggen. The refreshment list on the runners’ information page puts stations at Sandviken Sykehus (3.5 km), Fjellveien (6.5 km), Haraldsplass Sykehus (10 km), the AdO arena (14 km), Nordnesparken (19 km) and Bryggen (21.5 km, marathon runners only).
