A sweepstakes offering entries to the 2027 New York City Marathon is promoted on the race page. The sweepstakes is described as a hundred entry draw for the 2027 race. A link marked Learn More sits beside the sweepstakes headline.
The page also lists volunteer opportunities for the 2026 New York City Marathon. Those volunteer dates run from 24 Oct at 12:00am to 01 Nov at 11:59pm. The countdown clock on the page gives November 1, 2026 as race day.
The page states that 59,226 finishers completed the 2025 race. A separate item reports that defending champions return for the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line. For a runner hoping to line up in 2027, the sweepstakes offers a chance at an entry.
