Every distance starts and finishes on Cormier Road, outside the event center, in Ashwaubenon. The marathon heads through Ashwaubenon and Green Bay, crosses the Mason Street Bridge into Allouez and spends scenic miles on the Fox River Trail. After crossing the Fox River again it makes its way past Lambeau Field and finishes down Holmgren Way.
This is the 2025 course, from the organiser’s map of 13 October 2025. Runners cannot go inside Lambeau Field, but every distance runs past it in its shadow.
Sourced
The organiser calls both marathon and half marathon courses fast and flat, and the height profile agrees. The start and finish stand at about 186 m. The road rises gently to its high point of about 202 m near km 7.1, runs down to 180 m by km 15 and stays between 178 m and 180 m through the long stretch to km 20, then climbs to about 192 m near km 25 before falling to the low point of 178 m near km 27.8. The last ten kilometres ease back up to the start’s height.
In all the race climbs about 70 m: about 32 m in the first half and 38 m in the second. A watch that adds up every short bump will read more than that.
Measured
The organiser publishes the certification code for the marathon, WI25008DM, and a separate one for the half marathon, and says the full course counts as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The marathon has 18 aid stations, each with water, sports drink and portable toilets (about every 1.5 miles); gels and bananas are at miles 7 and 20. The course stays open for 7 hours, a 16-minute mile pace, and the course is open to traffic, so the organiser asks runners to take care at every crossing.

Race fuel
One every 40 minutes, the orange marks on the profile. Green Bay stays within 23 m75 ft of height, so they go by the clock:
Under about 75 minutes most runners need no gel: water at the aid stations does it.
For your long training runs:
Our pick: SiS BETA Fuel gel, box of 6, strawberry and lime. 40 g of carbohydrate a gel, about twice a usual gel, from two kinds of sugar your body takes up side by side. Enough for race day and two test long runs.
Easy to forget on race morning: pack them with your bib the night before.

An invisible layer before the start keeps seams, straps and shoes from rubbing skin raw.
Put it on before you leave for the start: heels and toes, inner thighs, under a bra or heart-rate strap.
Try it on a long run first, like everything you use on race day.
